We Are All Narcissists!

What is narcissist?

Okay, for some, this might be a fancy word. Same here - at least before I watched House MD (you get a clue now, yes?) and actually find out how cool and witty a narcissist could be. But then again, something you 'learn' on TV might not turn out to be true in the real world. Sigh.

Back to the definition. Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary defines 'narcissist' as someone who has too much for themselves admiration. As simple as that. Examples? Well, I could give you an endless list right here but it is better to let your imagination run free.

There are A LOT of people in your life that would fit that definition perfectly, is it not? Yes, I can sense your smirk. A person who can't help but to tell stories about his/her magnificence. A guy who always barge into a chat with the classic intro: "You know what? I just...". A girl who spend unbelievable hours in front of the mirror - everywhere.

What's With This Jersey Parade During Friday Prayer?

I get it. The world will welcome the biggest sport event - FIFA World Cup. Even though I don't any team to support since Malaysia did not make it this time around (or perhaps, for the next 50 years) - I do understand the eagerness of our people to embrace World Cup. I do.

This afternoon, I noticed that the amount of jemaah wearing international football jerseys are alarmingly noticeable. The most displayed jersey is obviously, since I went for Friday prayer in Malaysia, the nation of Three Lions - England (duh). Yes, the nation with 'golden generation' on every World Cup edition but eventually failed to win on every occasion, except in 1966 - which all Germans (and Germany fans) won't agree.

Salah Taip Is Back!

Yes, I couldn't handle the temptation anymore. Being in hiatus for few months does bring the itch to blog again. I am lucky to have a bunch of people that give a hoot about my writings.

And yes, it is because of that - I decided to bring Salah Taip back to life, on Blogspot this time around. The one on Wordpress is deleted.

What shall you expect from this Salah Taip? The same old ramblings you read in the previous one - I can assure you that. I don't know how long will this one last but, hey, I don't really care about that.

Right now, I'm back into the realm of blogging and looking forward to entertain my fellow readers with my entries. Should be fun - like the good old days, yes?

Welcome to Salah Taip. Again.
